Enhancing Camera Performance with Better Power Adapters

I recently upgraded the power adapters for my Wyze cameras, and I wanted to share my experience in case it helps others. After noticing occasional restarts during the day, I suspected the power supply might be the culprit. I decided to invest in higher quality adapters, specifically ones with higher wattage and support for QC3.0 fast charging.

I chose two types: a two-port 20W adapter for single-camera use and a four-port 40W adapter for powering two cameras simultaneously. The results have been impressive. The cameras now restart consistently in the early morning as scheduled, and the video refresh rate seems smoother. While the image quality hasn’t improved, the overall reliability and performance have definitely gotten better.

I encourage anyone experiencing similar issues to consider upgrading their power adapters. It’s a simple fix that can make a noticeable difference in your smart home setup. If you have any questions or want more details, feel free to ask!
