Enhancing Camera Sensitivity for Reliable Monitoring

I’ve recently set up a new camera at my front door, and while the installation was straightforward, I’m encountering an issue with its motion detection sensitivity. The camera seems to trigger alerts for the slightest movements, such as clouds passing overhead or the breeze rustling nearby plants. I’ve adjusted the sensitivity settings and configured the detection zone to focus on the walkway, but the problem persists.

I’ve tried lowering the sensitivity to around 15, but it doesn’t seem to make a difference. The camera is a V2 model with the latest firmware, and I’m using a 32GB SD card for continuous recording. I’m curious if others have faced similar issues and how they resolved them. Has anyone found a way to fine-tune the motion detection without compromising the camera’s responsiveness to actual activity?

I’m also considering whether the placement of the camera or the surrounding environment might be contributing to the problem. Any insights or tips would be greatly appreciated!
