Enhancing Govee DIY Experiences: A User's Perspective

As a passionate user of Govee devices, I’ve been exploring the endless possibilities of their DIY features. However, I’ve noticed that when transferring DIY settings from one device to another, the results can vary significantly due to differences in hardware capabilities. This has led me to wonder if Govee could introduce a feature that automatically adjusts DIY patterns and speeds based on the target device’s specifications, ensuring a consistent experience across all devices.

I’ve also observed that while the Scene mode in Govee’s latest firmware (v5.6) allows for speed adjustments, this functionality isn’t extended to saved DIY projects created by other users. It would be fantastic if Govee could bridge this gap, enabling users to tweak speed settings for all their saved projects seamlessly.

Another area that could use improvement is brightness control in Scene mode. Some projects are excessively bright even at the lowest settings, which can be overwhelming. Adding a finer brightness adjustment feature would make these projects more enjoyable and adaptable to different environments.

Overall, Govee’s products are a joy to use, and with a few enhancements, they could become even more versatile and user-friendly. I’m excited to see how Govee continues to innovate and improve their offerings!
