Hey everyone! I wanted to share my recent project with the Govee Sync Box and how it transformed our home entertainment setup. My wife loves playing Just Dance on our Xbox, and I thought, why not turn our living room into a mini dance club? ![]()

I came across the Govee Sync Box - Just Dance Version! and decided to give it a try. The idea was to sync the lights with the music, creating a more immersive experience. Setting it up was a bit of a puzzle at first. The device model on the back didn’t match the options in the Govee app, but after some trial and error, I got it paired! ![]()
Once connected, the Sync Box updated to the latest firmware, and I linked it to four devices: a set of RGB strips, an Aura light, a Night Light, and even a bricked H6054. The result? Instant dance club vibes!
The lights pulsed perfectly with the music, and my wife and her friends loved it. It was a hit! ![]()
I also wanted to share a tip for anyone facing similar issues. If you’re having trouble pairing your Sync Box, check the model number on the device and ensure it matches the app settings. Sometimes, the app might list slightly different models, so it’s worth double-checking. ![]()
This project was a fun way to enhance our gaming nights, and I’m excited to explore more ways to integrate smart lighting into our home. If you’ve tried something similar or have tips, I’d love to hear them! Let’s keep the creativity flowing! ![]()
