As a homeowner in a gated community, I’ve recently had an unsettling experience that’s prompted me to rethink my home security setup. Last weekend, I had a trespasser in my courtyard just before 2am, and despite calling 911, the police response was disappointing. Thankfully, our private security was on-site, but it made me realize how vulnerable I could be without their presence.
I’m now looking to install the loudest outdoor siren and the brightest strobe lights available. My neighbors are fully supportive, which is a huge relief! I currently have a mix of 5 Nest cameras, 7 G Home smart cameras, and 12 Wyze cameras, but I want an added layer of security that’s both obnoxiously loud and blindingly bright to deter any potential intruders.
I’m at a loss when it comes to choosing the right products, so I’d greatly appreciate any recommendations or advice. I’m also looking for something that’s easy to install and compatible with my iOS devices. If anyone has experience with specific brands or models, I’d love to hear about your setup and how it’s worked for you.
