I recently purchased a Wyze smart lock and pre-ordered the home monitoring hub, and I’m curious about their compatibility. I’ve been searching for confirmation on whether these devices can work seamlessly together, but I haven’t found a definitive answer yet. If anyone has experience integrating Wyze locks with a home monitoring system, I’d love to hear about your setup and any tips you might have!
Another topic I’ve been thinking about is the visibility of security systems. I have a TS-1 sensor in my laundry room near an exterior door, which my dog uses frequently. The red LED light is helpful, but it’s easy to overlook, especially when it’s constantly on. I wonder if there’s a feature that could make the LED flash when the system is armed. This might not only draw more attention but also serve as a deterrent to potential intruders. Ideally, this feature could be customizable so it doesn’t interfere with the panels in other areas of the house, like my bedroom.
If this isn’t currently available, I’d be happy to suggest it to 2GIG as a potential enhancement. It would be great to have more flexibility in how our security systems communicate with us and our surroundings.
