I’ve recently embarked on a journey to enhance my smart home setup, and I must say, it’s been an exciting adventure!
I’ve been using Z-Wave devices for a while now, and the Fibaro FGR223 roller shutters have been a standout in my system. However, I’ve encountered a peculiar issue with one of them that I’m eager to resolve.
The left shutter works perfectly, allowing me to set specific opening percentages, which is super handy for partial shading. But the right one just doesn’t seem to calibrate properly. It either fully opens or closes, which isn’t ideal. I’ve tried adjusting the time parameters, but it doesn’t quite solve the problem. I’m wondering if there’s a way to make Home Assistant remember the position based on the time it takes to open or close. Any insights or workarounds would be greatly appreciated! ![]()
On a lighter note, I’ve also been exploring other smart home peripherals, like the Fibaro FGWPE-102 wall plug. It’s been reliable for monitoring power consumption, and I’m curious if anyone has alternative recommendations. The integration possibilities are endless, and I’m always on the lookout for ways to optimize my setup further. ![]()
If anyone has tips on combining different styles in card_mod or experiences with simulating sunrise with LIFX bulbs, I’d love to hear about them too! The smart home community is such a wealth of knowledge, and I’m thrilled to be part of it. Let’s keep the ideas flowing! ![]()
