Enhancing Outdoor Lighting with Music Mode Integration

Hey everyone! I wanted to share my recent experience with integrating music mode into my outdoor lighting setup. It’s been a journey of trial and error, but the results are truly magical. :star2:

I’ve been working on my outdoor show since before Halloween, and I must say, it’s come a long way. I’ve got a variety of light groups set up—everything from house strings to spotlights, and even some ground lights. The challenge I faced was getting all these groups to react to music seamlessly. I was hoping the quick keys would handle this, but it seems they only work with DIY scenes or reactive modes, not the specific music settings I had configured for each device. :notes:

Currently, I have 10 groups to manage, which means every time I want to switch to sound reaction mode, I have to go through each group individually. It’s a bit tedious, but I’m determined to find a solution. I’ve been using two music sync boxes, but they aren’t as responsive as I’d like. Maybe I need to explore more advanced settings or look into custom scripts to automate this process. :brain:

In the meantime, I’ve been experimenting with different light modes and scenes. One of my favorites is the Coral Sea mode, which adds a relaxing underwater vibe to my aquarium setup. Pairing this with the Deep Sea color scheme has created a calming atmosphere that’s perfect for unwinding after a long day. :tropical_fish::sparkles:

I also wanted to mention my recent upgrade to Govee’s outdoor lights. The new strip lights are a game-changer, and the 40% discount they offered in the U.S. made it even more appealing. I’m hoping Govee will extend this kind of deal to other regions soon! :star2:

If anyone has tips on how to streamline the music mode integration or suggestions for better reactive lighting, I’d love to hear them. Let’s keep the creativity flowing! :bulb::sparkles:
