I’ve been experimenting with my Aeon Labs MultiSensor outdoors and wanted to share my experience. Initially, I was facing issues with false triggers, which were quite frustrating. After some research and trial and error, I discovered a simple yet effective solution. By covering the sensor’s IR window with a small piece of paper, I significantly reduced the false triggers caused by sunlight reflections. This tweak allowed the sensor to accurately detect motion from my patio without any unwanted alerts. I’ve been monitoring it for a few days now, and it’s been performing exceptionally well. It’s a minor adjustment that makes a big difference! If anyone else is struggling with similar issues, I’d highly recommend giving this a try. It’s a cost-effective and easy fix that enhances the reliability of your outdoor motion detection setup.
