Enhancing Security with Logbook Lovelace Card

I recently stumbled upon the new Logbook Lovelace Card and I must say, it’s a game-changer for my home security setup! :tada: I’ve been using a custom card for my alarm dashboard for quite some time, but the speed and functionality of this new card are impressive. However, there’s one feature I’m really hoping to see in the future— the ability to define the number of events to display rather than a time period.

Currently, if I’m away on vacation, I want to check for any motion or door events during my absence. With the current setup, if I define a 2-week period and I’m home during that time, I end up with thousands of motion events, which isn’t very helpful. On the other hand, if I’m away, it would be perfect to just see the relevant events.

This feature would be especially useful for security applications where the number of events is more critical than the time frame. I really appreciate the effort put into creating such a robust set of cards and hope this suggestion can be considered for future updates. Until then, I’m thoroughly enjoying the speed and efficiency of the Logbook Lovelace Card! :rocket:
