I’ve been exploring the world of smart home automation lately, and I must say, it’s been an exciting journey! 
I recently integrated several Govee devices into my setup, including motion sensors and smart lights, and the results have been nothing short of amazing. 
One of my favorite features is how the motion sensors automatically turn on the lights when I enter a room. It’s incredibly convenient, especially during those late-night trips to the kitchen. 
But I’m curious—can these sensors detect motion even when someone is sitting still? And is there a way to set a timer so the lights turn off after a certain period of inactivity? 
I also love how the Govee app sends notifications when the sensors are triggered. It adds an extra layer of security, and I feel more at ease knowing I can monitor my home from anywhere. 
However, I’m wondering if these sensors can work seamlessly with other brands or if they’re limited to Govee products. 
Another thing I’ve been experimenting with is using the NFC stickers for automation. I paired them with Tasker on my phone, and it’s been a game-changer for creating custom routines. For example, I can now set my lights to dim when I sit down on the couch, all with a simple tap of my NFC-enabled keychain. 
If anyone has more tips on maximizing NFC automation, I’d love to hear them!
