EP Cube Integration Success Story: Real-Time Monitoring in Home Assistant

Hey everyone! I wanted to share my recent success with integrating the EP Cube system into Home Assistant. After spending some time developing a custom integration, I’m thrilled to say it’s up and running smoothly!

The integration allows for real-time monitoring of solar production, consumption, battery levels, and more. It also supports daily, monthly, and annual statistics, which has been incredibly helpful for tracking energy usage patterns. Plus, it’s compatible with the Energy Dashboard, making everything even more user-friendly.

One of the best parts is how straightforward the setup was. I used the official EP Cube API and generated a Bearer token using my login credentials. Once that was done, pasting the token into the integration UI was all it took to get everything connected.

I’ve been using this integration for a week now, and it’s been a game-changer for managing our energy consumption. The ability to monitor everything from one place has reduced the need for multiple apps and gives me peace of mind knowing our system is optimized.

If anyone else owns an EP Cube system and is interested in trying this out, I’d love to hear your feedback or any suggestions you might have. The integration is still in its early stages, and user input would be invaluable for further improvements!

Happy automating, and here’s to more energy-efficient homes! :sun_with_face::sparkles:
