EQ-3 Rolladenaktor Update and Shelly TRV Experience

Hello everyone, I wanted to share some recent experiences with my EQ-3 Rolladenaktor and Shelly TRV. First, regarding the EQ-3 Rolladenaktor, I reached out to their support about the capacitor issue (C26 Problem) and received a helpful response. They mentioned that newer models now use improved capacitors, which should enhance longevity. While it’s too early to tell if this fully resolves the issue, it’s reassuring to see EQ-3 addressing the problem. I’m hopeful this update will benefit others looking for reliable rollershutter actuators. ;-)

Moving on to the Shelly TRV, I recently installed my first unit, and the setup was seamless. However, I noticed an unusual clicking sound when adjusting the valve. It almost sounds like the gearbox is slipping. I’ve tried recalibrating it, but the issue persists. I’m curious if others have experienced this or if there might be a fix. I’m eager to hear your thoughts!

Lastly, I’ve been exploring ways to integrate my Philips Hue sensors directly with Homey Pro without needing a Hue bridge. While the connection works, I’m missing features like sensitivity adjustments and real-time lux/temperature readings. If anyone has tips or alternative apps that could help, I’d appreciate the insights!

Thanks for reading, and I look forward to your feedback and experiences!
