EQ3 Bluetooth Fix and Smart Camera Setup

Hey everyone, I wanted to share my recent experiences with setting up some new smart home devices. I recently purchased an EQ3 thermostat, and at first, I was running into some Bluetooth connectivity issues. After some research, I found a great solution on a forum where someone had encountered the same problem. They mentioned a firmware fix that involved a specific 4-digit code generated from the device’s serial number. It was a bit of a process, but in the end, everything paired perfectly with my Home Assistant setup. I’m really happy with how it turned out and the level of control I now have over my home’s heating system.

On another note, I’ve been experimenting with setting up some smart cameras around my property. I’ve got a Blink Outdoor Camera 4, and while the motion detection works well, I noticed that the video clips weren’t being saved locally as they should be. After some troubleshooting, I realized it was a settings issue. I had to adjust the motion sensitivity and ensure that the recording type was set to ‘All Motions.’ Now, everything is working smoothly, and I can keep an eye on things from anywhere.

If anyone has tips on integrating multiple smart devices or troubleshooting connectivity issues, I’d love to hear them. It’s amazing how much these devices can enhance our daily lives when everything works together seamlessly. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and experiences!
