Hey everyone, I’ve been diving into some exciting projects lately and wanted to share my experiences and ask a few questions along the way. First off, I’m in the process of integrating some ESP32 Wroom boards into my home automation setup, specifically working with LD2410c human presence sensors. I’ve come across a few different ESP32 Dev Wroom boards (like the U, D, UE, and E versions) and I’m curious if anyone has insights on which board would work best with my setup. Any recommendations or experiences would be super helpful!
On another note, I’ve been exploring ways to automate my Epson Workforce ET-4550 printer. Since we only use it every couple of weeks, the print head tends to get clogged, which is a bit of a hassle. I’ve heard that leaving it unused for too long can cause permanent clogging, so I’m wondering if it’s possible to set up an automation that prints a test page every few days to keep things running smoothly. The Epson integration in Home Assistant only provides status and tank level info, so I’m not sure if this is feasible. If anyone has tips or tricks for achieving this, I’d love to hear them!
