I’ve been working on setting up my Eufy 2K Doorbell and Homebase 2, and while the installation went smoothly, I’ve encountered some frustrating issues with the live stream. The stream keeps flashing an error message: ‘Error With Media Stream Contents’, and the logs show something about ‘INVALIDDATA’ and ‘HTTP_BAD_REQUEST’. I’ve installed the necessary integrations—Eufy Security WS Addon, RTSP Simple Server Add On, and the Eufy Security Integration—but the problem persists.
I’ve tried restarting the devices, checking the network settings, and even reinstalling the integrations, but nothing seems to work. The error logs mention issues with sending payloads, which makes me think there might be a problem with how the data is being processed or transmitted.
Has anyone else experienced similar issues with their Eufy doorbell? I’d love to hear if there are any troubleshooting steps I haven’t tried yet. For example, does adjusting the RTSP settings or updating the firmware help? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
On a positive note, I’ve found the Eufy app itself to be very user-friendly, and the doorbell’s video quality is impressive. It’s just a shame that the live stream functionality isn’t working as expected. I’m hopeful that with some tweaking, I can get everything up and running smoothly.
