Hey everyone, I wanted to share my experience with setting up the Eve Energy Outlet. At first, I was a bit frustrated because I couldn’t get it to connect to my WiFi network. I tried using both the Google Home app and the Eve app, but it kept getting stuck on the network connectivity step. I reset my Eero router and my phone, and even checked if my Nest Hub and Google TV could act as Thread border routers. Nothing seemed to work!
After some research, I stumbled upon a suggestion to disable IPv6 on my router. I wasn’t sure if that would help, but I gave it a try. Lo and behold, the Eve Energy Outlet connected seamlessly after that! I’m so relieved and happy that I can now use this device to automate my home even more. It’s amazing how a simple setting change can make such a difference.
If anyone else is having trouble with their Eve Energy Outlet, I’d recommend checking your router settings and disabling IPv6 if it’s enabled. It might just be the solution you’re looking for!
