Hi everyone, I’m reaching out to seek some advice on configuring the EVLink Pro AC charging station to send periodic charge detail records via FTP. I’ve been working on this for a while now, but I’m hitting a snag. Let me walk you through what I’ve done so far and where I’m stuck.
First, I’ve set up the charging station to use FTP as the communication channel in the eSetup application. I’ve configured the IP address and port of the FTP server, which is running FileZilla Server on a supervision PC. The charging station is connected to the network, and I can see real-time data through Modbus. So far, so good.
However, when I try to send the charge detail records, the server rejects the file. I’ve tested sending files from a PC using an FTP client, and that works without any issues. I’ve also tried both Required Authentication and Anonymous Authentication on the FTP server, but neither seems to work with the EVLink Pro AC. The attached image shows the rejection message I’m receiving.
I’m a bit puzzled here. The setup seems correct, and the network connectivity is solid since I can see real-time data. I wonder if there’s something specific about the EVLink Pro AC’s FTP implementation that I’m missing. Maybe there are certain FTP settings or configurations that need to be adjusted on the server side?
If anyone has experience with this or similar setups, I’d greatly appreciate your insights. Have you encountered this issue before? Did you find a workaround or a solution? Any suggestions would be incredibly helpful!
Thanks in advance for your time and assistance!
Best regards,
Mauro
