I recently had the pleasure of reviewing the Govee RGBICWW Cylinder Floor Lamp, and I must say, it has quickly become a favorite addition to my home! The packaging was excellent, and assembly was a breeze—just a matter of twisting the poles together and securing the base. At 5’6" tall, I was impressed by how well the lamp’s height suited my office and gaming area. The base is sturdy, so I don’t worry about it moving around, which is a big plus for an active space.
The lamp’s brightness is impressive, and connecting it to the Govee app was seamless. The variety of lighting effects is staggering, and each one looks stunning. While I noticed that some effects could be smoother, the rainbow effect, in particular, showcased the lamp’s ability to handle different lighting features beautifully.
I chose to use a traditional light switch for convenience, but the lamp also features a handy front button for manual adjustments. The cylinder design is both functional and modern, providing ample light coverage for large areas. I’m hoping Govee expands the color options in the future to match various home decors, but the white finish looks fantastic in my setup.
