Hey everyone, I just wanted to share my excitement about the upcoming Thread support for Nanoleaf Shapes! Earlier this week, I came across an interview with Nanoleaf’s CEO, Gimmy Chu, where he confirmed that Thread support is indeed on the way for Nanoleaf Shapes and Tiles. This is huge news for me because I’ve been using Nanoleaf Shapes for a while now, and the idea of having even more reliable and seamless connectivity with my smart home devices is incredibly exciting.I’ve been experimenting with integrating multiple smart home brands into my setup—Shelly, Philips Hue, and now Nanoleaf—and the ability to have Thread support across the board will definitely streamline things. I’m particularly interested in how this will improve the reliability of my lighting automations, especially during those late-night scenes where I want everything to work perfectly without any hiccups. One challenge I’ve faced is ensuring consistent communication between devices, especially when dealing with different protocols like Zigbee and Wi-Fi. The promise of Thread support gives me hope that this will become a thing of the past. I’m also curious to see how this will enhance security and overall performance.I’d love to hear from others who are as excited about this update as I am! How do you envision integrating Thread into your smart home setups? Let’s discuss and maybe share some ideas on how to make the most of this new feature once it’s live. Thanks to the Nanoleaf team for this exciting announcement, and here’s to a smarter, more connected future! ![]()
