I just wanted to share some exciting updates about my recent smart home projects! ![]()
First off, I recently picked up the Govee Neon Lights and they’ve been a game-changer for my living room setup. The vibrant colors and smooth transitions are absolutely stunning, and I’ve been having a blast customizing the scenes through the app. If you’re into DIY lighting projects, I highly recommend giving these a try! ![]()
Another project I’ve been working on is setting up a dimmer scene with my ZRC-90 Scene Controller and Fibaro 2 dimmer. It took a bit of tinkering, but I finally got it working perfectly with Vera Plus. Now, I can hold a button to dim the lights gradually, which is super handy for creating the perfect ambiance in the evenings. ![]()

On a more technical note, I’ve also been experimenting with creating a script to manage a USB swapfile on my system. It’s been a great learning experience, and I’ve managed to get it working smoothly. The script now checks the swap status and handles any issues automatically, which has really improved my system’s performance. ![]()
