Hi everyone! I’m thrilled to share my recent smart home setup experience. I’ve been using TP-Link HS110 smart plugs for a while now, and they’ve been a breeze to set up with the Kasa app. Everything works perfectly there, but I wanted to integrate them into my Homey ecosystem for more seamless automation. I installed them on Homey, but when I tried switching them on or off, nothing happened. I’m still figuring this out, but I’m hopeful it’ll work out soon!
On a brighter note, I recently came across the ZemiSmart WiFi Curtain Motor, and it’s been a game-changer! After a bit of research, I decided to give it a try, and I’m so glad I did. The installation was a bit involved, but the quiet operation and smooth curtain movements make it totally worth it. Plus, it’s HomeKit compatible, which is a huge plus for me. I love how it enhances my home automation setup without needing an extra hub.
Another thing I’ve been curious about is integrating the Schlage Sense lock with SmartThings. I’d love to get alerts when the batteries need changing, but I’m not quite sure how to go about it. If anyone has successfully done this, I’d love to hear your tips!
Overall, my journey with smart home devices has been filled with excitement and a few bumps along the way. It’s amazing to see how technology can make our lives more convenient and connected. I’m looking forward to exploring more possibilities and learning from the community. Thanks for sharing your experiences and advice!
