Exciting New Integrations and a Small Challenge

I wanted to share some exciting updates about my recent smart home projects. I’ve been diving into integrating some new devices and have had a mix of successes and a minor challenge I’d love to get your thoughts on.
First off, I’m thrilled with the new Switchbot Smart Plug Mini that I recently added to my setup. It’s been a breeze to integrate with my existing ecosystem, and the energy monitoring feature is a fantastic addition. I’ve been using it to control my coffee maker, and it’s been a delightful way to start my mornings. The fact that it’s now HomeKit-enabled is a huge plus, and I’m excited to see what other products Switchbot brings to the table in the future.
Another project I’ve been working on is creating a Spotify Widget for my OpenHAB setup. It’s been a fun challenge to customize it to my liking, and I’ve even shared the code on GitHub for others to use. The community feedback has been amazing, and it’s wonderful to see how others are adapting it to fit their needs. If anyone has suggestions or improvements, I’d love to hear them!
Now, onto the challenge. I’ve been experiencing some issues with my Wyze Cam not capturing all motion events. It’s been a bit frustrating because I rely on it for monitoring, and missing a few minutes of footage isn’t ideal. I’ve tried adjusting the settings, including switching to continuous recording, but the problem persists. If anyone has encountered this or has tips on how to resolve it, I’d be incredibly grateful for your advice.
I’m also curious if others have had success with combining water-based and electrical underfloor heating using SpaceLogic KNX components. I’m planning to explore this setup to optimize energy efficiency, and any insights or best practices would be invaluable.
