Another highlight has been exploring the Heimdall app for Homey. It’s an impressive security solution that I’ve heard many great things about. I’m eager to learn more about how others have customized their setups with Heimdall and if there are any hidden features or best practices I should be aware of. If anyone has tips or experiences to share, I’d love to hear them!On the topic of cameras, I’ve been using Wyze cameras for a while now, and I’m consistently impressed by their reliability and features. However, I recently encountered an issue where one of my cameras started showing a solid yellow light after a firmware update. After reaching out to support, I was able to resolve it, but it made me wonder about the best practices for maintaining camera firmware and troubleshooting common issues. If anyone has insights or strategies for keeping their cameras running smoothly, I’d be grateful for the advice.Lastly, I’m currently working on automating my outdoor lighting to turn on when motion is detected and it’s getting dark. I’ve set up a basic rule, but I’m looking for ways to make it more efficient and responsive to real-time conditions.
