Exciting New Smart Home Integrations and Tips

Hey everyone! I’ve been absolutely thrilled with the progress in my smart home setup recently, and I wanted to share some exciting updates and tips that might be helpful for others on their journey. :tada:

First off, I’ve been experimenting with integrating my Govee lights with other devices, and the results have been fantastic! The ability to create seamless scenes and automate lighting based on my daily routines has truly elevated my home experience. For instance, setting up a warm evening glow with just a voice command has become a daily delight. :star2:

However, I’ve also encountered a few challenges along the way. One thing that’s been on my mind is the occasional database size increase on my hubs after updates. I’ve noticed it went from ~15Mb to around 50Mb, and I’m curious if others are experiencing the same thing or if there’s any cause for concern. Any insights would be appreciated!

On another note, I’ve been exploring the world of DIY smart home projects and stumbled upon some incredible ideas. For example, using motion sensors to automatically adjust lighting levels based on activity has been a game-changer for energy efficiency. It’s amazing how a simple tweak can make such a big difference. :bulb:

I’d also love to hear from others who are diving into smart home automation. What projects or integrations have you recently tackled? Have you found any particularly useful tips or workarounds that you’d like to share? Let’s keep the conversation flowing and help each other make the most of our smart home setups! :handshake:

Cheers to the community for all the support and inspiration! Here’s to many more exciting smart home discoveries ahead! :rocket:
