Smart home enthusiasts, I’m thrilled to share my recent journey into the world of smart home automation! 
Just wanted to drop by and share how much I’ve enjoyed integrating various smart devices into my home. From setting up outdoor neon rope lights for a stunning ambiance to automating my heating system, it’s been an incredible learning experience.One of my favorite projects was creating a custom component for my Home Assistant setup to monitor train schedules. It involved some Python scripting and REST API integration, but seeing it all come together was rewarding! If anyone is interested in similar projects, I’d be happy to share my setup and tips.I also recently installed my last 10ft COB light strip around my fireplace, and I must say, the results are breathtaking! It’s amazing how lighting can transform a space. Huge shoutout to the community for all the advice and support throughout this project. 
For those looking to explore smart thermostats, I’ve been experimenting with integrating wireless thermostats with my underfloor heating system. It’s a bit technical, but the precision in temperature control is worth the effort!Lastly, I wanted to mention the fantastic outdoor neon rope light co-creation project I’ve been part of. It’s amazing to see how a community can come together to create something truly special.
