Exciting Update: Homey Hub Now Officially Supports HomeKit!

I’m super excited to share this fantastic news with the community! After a long wait, Homey has officially announced built-in HomeKit support. This is a game-changer for Apple users who’ve been wanting to integrate their smart devices seamlessly.

For those who aren’t familiar, Homey acts as the ultimate glue, connecting all your disparate smart devices under one roof. While it’s always been possible to use HomeKit with Homey through plugins, it was a beta option. Now, with this official update, controlling all your devices from the Home app or using Siri with a HomePod is a breeze!

This update means that brands previously out of reach for HomeKit users, like Nest, Innr, Aeotec, and Somfy, can now connect and communicate with your other smart accessories. Homey claims support for over 50,000 devices, so there’s plenty to choose from!

If you’re considering making the switch or upgrading, the Homey Hub is available directly from their website for €299.00. However, at the time of writing, they’re currently sold out. I’m hoping they’ll restock soon!

I’d love to hear from others who’ve made the switch or have specific questions about integrating their devices. Let’s share our experiences and tips below!

Cheers to this exciting development! :tada:
