Exciting Update on Wyze Cam Outdoor & Base Station Firmware

Hello fellow smart home enthusiasts! I wanted to share some exciting news about the recent firmware update for the Wyze Cam Outdoor & Base Station. The update brings some much-needed improvements and new features, which I’ve been eagerly waiting for. The firmware versions are now at 4.17.1.52 for the camera and 4.16.1.22 for the base station.

One of the standout features in this update is the addition of support for Wyze Home Monitoring. This integration will definitely enhance the security and convenience of my setup. I’ve also noticed some bug fixes that have been addressing some of the issues I’ve encountered in the past. It’s always great to see continuous improvements from the manufacturer.

For those of you who might not be familiar, the Wyze Cam Outdoor is a fantastic addition to any smart home setup. It’s weather-resistant, has excellent video quality, and integrates seamlessly with other Wyze devices. The base station ensures stable connectivity, which is crucial for reliable operation, especially in areas with spotty Wi-Fi coverage.

I’d love to hear from others who have updated their firmware. Have you noticed any improvements in performance or functionality? Are there any new features you’re particularly excited about? Let’s discuss and share our experiences!

Happy automating everyone! :rocket:
