🤔 Expanding Aqara’s Third Party Integrations Beyond Sonos & Tesla

 Expanding Aqara’s Third Party Integrations Beyond Sonos & Tesla?

Hi everyone,

I know Aqara already allows us to connect with certain external ecosystems such as Sonos and Tesla, which is a great step toward making the platform more versatile.

Still, I’ve run into a situation where one of my devices, a Roborock vacuum cleaner, can’t be linked to Aqara because it’s not Matter compatible and isn’t part of the current supported list. That means I can’t create automations like disabling the alarm when the vacuum starts cleaning or triggering other events when it finishes.

It made me wonder if it would make sense for Aqara to expand this integration system to more third party brands. A plugin style approach or broader account linking could let us bring in more devices until official Matter support is available.

I’m curious:

  • Do you also have devices you wish could link directly with Aqara?
  • Would you use more third party integrations if they were available?
  • Any clever workarounds you’ve found to connect devices outside Matter and the current list?

Looking forward to hearing your ideas!

Hi @carlos_pereira
The list of integrations is really not big, in the China region there are many integrations including with roborock but they are almost all for the China region and require a Chinese account + phone number in China.
Matter bridge is the best solution for adding devices to aqara home in my opinion and also Matter hub HA
