Hi everyone! I’ve been diving into some exciting home tech projects lately and wanted to share my experiences and questions with you all. Hopefully, someone can offer some insights or tips!
First off, I’ve been working on expanding my home media system. I have a dedicated media PC in the kitchen running MediaPortal, paired with an FHZ1000 PC and some active speakers. Using a FS20 remote control, I’ve managed to set it up so I can switch between TV, radio, and music. It’s been a fun project, but now I want to take it to the next room. I’d love to have the audio from MediaPortal play in another room as well, either alone or combined with the current setup. The big question is: can I achieve this with the FS20-SM4 module, or will I need additional relays? And if so, which ones would you recommend? I’d love to keep things simple and cost-effective, so any advice would be appreciated!
On another note, I’ve been experimenting with smart lighting and came across some interesting findings. I’ve been using both the Lyra and RGBIC corner floor lamps, and after some hands-on testing, I’ve noticed the Lyra has a slight edge in size and design. It’s been a joy to set up and customize, and I’m curious to hear others’ experiences with these lamps. Have you noticed any differences or have any tips for optimizing their performance?
Lastly, I’ve been tackling a bit of a tech puzzle with my Wyze Cam Pan. It worked perfectly for the first day, but then suddenly, the LED lights stopped working, and I can’t reset it. It’s frustrating because I can’t seem to find a solution online. Has anyone encountered this issue before, or know of a fix? I’d really appreciate any help or suggestions!
Overall, it’s been a mix of triumphs and challenges, but I’m learning so much along the way. I’m excited to hear your thoughts and see if we can solve these tech mysteries together!
