Hi everyone, I’ve been diving into the world of Zigbee and it’s been quite an adventure! I recently upgraded my Homey Pro to version 7.0.0 and was thrilled to start adding more Zigbee devices to my setup. However, after adding around 16 devices, I hit a wall—I couldn’t add any more. This was frustrating because I still had a few Aquara temperature sensors waiting to be integrated.
I did some research and found that resetting the Zigbee network could help, so I gave it a try. It worked temporarily, allowing me to add a few more devices, but the issue resurfaced quickly. I started wondering if the 2.4 GHz channel was too crowded due to my existing Unify network with two APs using channels 1 and 6. Maybe that was causing interference?
I decided to experiment with changing the Zigbee channel to 11, which is less crowded in my area. To my delight, this change made a significant difference! I was able to add all my remaining devices without any issues. It’s amazing how a simple adjustment can make such a big impact.
For anyone else struggling with Zigbee network limitations, I’d recommend checking your local network environment and experimenting with different Zigbee channels. It might just be the solution you’re looking for. Happy automating! ![]()
