Experiences with Nuki Smart Lock and Bridge

Wow, the Nuki Smart Lock and Bridge have been quite the adventure! After spending over 12 hours installing and configuring everything, I finally got it up and running. However, my first guest experience was less than smooth. They arrived with the Nuki app installed but couldn’t connect it to my home Wi-Fi. The app showed they were offline, which was frustrating. I ended up switching back to my old lock cylinder to ensure they could enter.

I’m curious if others have faced similar issues. Does the Nuki app require some initialization time? Should guests install the app well before their arrival? Or is there a synchronization issue between the app and the server? It’s important for guests to have seamless access, especially for short-term rentals.

I’d love to hear if anyone has tips or tricks to ensure the Nuki Smart Lock works flawlessly for guests. Maybe there’s a way to test the setup beforehand or ensure the app is fully configured before someone arrives. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
