Hello OpenHAB community, I’m reaching out for some assistance with an issue I’ve been facing. I’m currently running OpenHAB version 2.5.3-1 on a Raspberry Pi, managing around 100 devices. The problem I’m encountering is that the system seems to restart constantly. I receive frequent notifications stating that polling is deferred until initialization is complete. This behavior is concerning, as I would expect the system to stabilize after the initial setup.
I’ve tried several troubleshooting steps, including removing the restdocs from the config directory and renaming namespaces in the services configuration files. Additionally, I’ve disabled some rules and removed all bindings except for Z-Wave to isolate the issue. Despite these efforts, the problem persists, and the system behaves correctly only about 20% of the time.
One particular frustration is when making changes to sliders in HabPanel; the values often revert to their previous settings, which is both confusing and frustrating. I’ve also enabled all three serial port options in the OpenHABian configuration, but this hasn’t resolved the issue.
I’m hoping someone in the community has encountered a similar problem and can offer some insights or solutions. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help!
