Exploring App Management and Camera Automation Tips

Hey everyone, I’ve been diving into the world of smart home automation lately, and I’ve got a few questions and experiences I’d love to share. First off, I’ve been trying to manage multiple apps on my system. I’ve heard that sometimes apps can be disabled without being uninstalled, which would save me from having to reconfigure everything each time. Does anyone know if this is possible? It would be great to free up some memory while still keeping my settings intact for when I need them later.

On another note, I’ve been experimenting with camera automation. I have a couple of S350 cameras set up, and I’d love to schedule them to turn on during the night and off in the morning. It’s all about streamlining my security routine. Plus, being able to control them via voice commands with Alexa or Siri would be a huge plus. Has anyone managed to set something like this up? I’m curious about the setup process and any potential pitfalls.

Another thing I’ve been curious about is firmware updates. I recently tried updating my ConBee II firmware, but it didn’t go as smoothly as I hoped. I followed the instructions to the letter, but it kept failing. I’m wondering if there’s something I missed or if there’s a different approach I should take. It’s a bit frustrating, but I know it’s just a matter of figuring out the right steps.

I’d also love to hear about others’ experiences with integrating different smart home devices, especially when it comes to maintaining consistent performance. Have you faced any similar issues, and how did you resolve them? Every bit of advice helps when trying to optimize my setup.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and learning from your experiences! Let’s keep the conversation going and help each other make the most out of our smart homes.
