Exploring Aqara Blinds and Curtains Integration with Home Assistant

I’m really excited about the idea of automating my home’s blinds and curtains! I’ve been using Aqara sensors for a while now and love their consistency and reliability. I’m looking into getting the Aqara Blinds and Curtains to complete my setup, but I want to connect them directly to Home Assistant using my Conbee II, without relying on the Aqara Hub.

I’ve heard that Zemismart offers some good alternatives, especially for the blinds with their motors and Shelly integration. However, sticking with Aqara would be ideal for a seamless ecosystem. I’ve done some research, but it seems like information on these specific devices is pretty scarce.

From what I gather, smart curtains and blinds still have some growing up to do compared to smart lighting. I’d love to know if anyone has successfully connected Aqara blinds and curtains directly to Home Assistant without the hub. Any tips or experiences would be super helpful!

Thanks in advance to the community for your insights and advice. I’m really looking forward to hearing how others have tackled this!
