Exploring Battery Life and Sensor Settings

Hi everyone! I’ve been diving into the world of smart home devices and wanted to share some of my experiences and questions. One thing that’s been on my mind lately is battery life, especially with my flood sensors. They’ve been reporting a full 100% battery for over a year now, which is impressive, but I’m curious if that’s accurate or if there’s a way to monitor it more precisely. Has anyone else encountered this or found a reliable method to track battery health over time?

Another area I’ve been exploring is setting up sensors and automations. I recently tried integrating a new thermostat with my system, but it wasn’t recognized automatically. After some research, I managed to set it up manually, but I’m still figuring out how to access all its features. I’d love to hear if others have tips or tricks for getting the most out of their devices.

On a lighter note, I’ve also been experimenting with creating custom widgets for my rollershutters. It’s been a fun challenge, and while I’m not a programmer, I’ve managed to come up with something that works for me. I’d love to see how others have customized their setups to make their homes smarter and more efficient.

If anyone has insights or experiences to share on these topics, I’d be thrilled to learn more! Let’s keep the conversation going and help each other make the most of our smart home setups.
