Hi everyone, I’ve been exploring outdoor camera options and stumbled upon a common challenge many of us might face. I currently have two Arlo Pro (version 1) cameras and one Pro2, but I’ve been told that to use Activity Zones, I need a subscription, even if the cameras are on battery power. This seems a bit frustrating, especially since my cameras are nearing end-of-life and won’t receive firmware updates anymore. I’m curious if anyone has found a workaround or alternative camera models that support Activity Zones without requiring a subscription, especially for outdoor use. I’d love to hear if there are more modern models or creative solutions out there. Have any of you successfully used Activity Zones on battery-powered cameras without subscribing?
