Hello everyone, I’m currently exploring options for additional door and window sensors for my Interlogix Simon XTI-5 system. I’ve been using the Tx-E201 sensors, but I’ve encountered some false tamper alarms, which I suspect might be due to battery issues. I’m curious if anyone has experience with newer sensors from brands like Power G or IQ that might be compatible with my system. I understand that IQ sensors operate at the same 319.5 MHz frequency, so that’s promising. However, I’m hesitant to add more Tx-E201 sensors and might consider replacing them entirely. I need to add two more sensors, as we recently caught our oldest trying to sneak out at night. If anyone has successfully integrated newer sensors with their Simon XTI-5 system, I’d love to hear about your experience and any tips you might have. Thanks in advance for your insights!
