As a new user to the world of Home Assistant, I’ve been diving into the possibilities of custom cards to enhance my dashboard. While I’ve successfully added cards like the bigNumber card, I’ve hit a snag with others such as mini-graph-card and Power Wheel. After following installation guides and tinkering with YAML configurations, I’m still puzzling over why some cards aren’t showing up.
I’ve heard that custom cards might require Lovelace to be in YAML mode, but I’m not entirely sure. Have any of you encountered similar issues when setting up custom cards? I’d love to hear your troubleshooting tips or any rookie mistakes I might be overlooking.
On a positive note, experimenting with these customizations has been a fantastic learning experience. It’s amazing to see how much you can personalize your Home Assistant setup, even if it means a bit of trial and error along the way. I’m excited to keep exploring and hopefully crack the code on getting those mini-graphs working!
