As a SmartThings user, I’ve always found the default device icons to be somewhat limited in variety. While I understand that SmartThings has bigger priorities, I’d love to see the ability to upload and use custom icons for devices, similar to how it’s possible for rooms. This feature would allow users to personalize their dashboards even further and make their devices more visually intuitive. I’ve noticed that some users have shared custom icon sets online, which could be a great resource if we could easily integrate them into our setups. I wonder if there are any workarounds or community-developed solutions that allow for this kind of customization right now. It would be fantastic to see more discussion or even a beta feature from SmartThings addressing this request. What do you think? Would custom device icons enhance your SmartThings experience?
