Hello everyone, I recently came across the D-Link DCH-S150 motion sensor and am curious about its compatibility with my Hubitat setup. The sensor’s plug-and-play design and no-battery requirement are quite appealing, but I’m unsure about its integration without relying on IFTTT and potential internet lag. Has anyone successfully used this sensor with Hubitat? Any insights would be greatly appreciated!
On another note, I’ve been experimenting with IKEA’s Skydrag LED strip lights in my wardrobe. The built-in diffuser and dimming capabilities are fantastic, though the motion sensor hasn’t performed as expected. I ended up using external contact sensors for more reliable automation. It’s a bit of a workaround, but it gets the job done!
I’d love to hear if others have found innovative solutions for similar setups or if there are better alternatives to the D-Link sensor. Let’s discuss and share our experiences!
