Exploring DuckDNS and LetsEncrypt Integration

Hi everyone, I’ve recently switched to HA OS and must say, it’s been a breath of fresh air for managing SSL security. I’ve installed the DuckDNS add-on, and it’s been handling everything seamlessly, which is impressive. However, I’m a bit puzzled about the role of the LetsEncrypt add-on and whether it’s necessary alongside DuckDNS.

Currently, DuckDNS has taken care of all my SSL needs, but I’m curious about the added benefits LetsEncrypt might offer. For instance, I’d love to have more control over certificates, like monitoring renewal dates or manually triggering renewals. This makes me wonder if installing both add-ons would be beneficial or redundant.

I’ve scoured the documentation but might have missed something. Does anyone have experience with running both DuckDNS and LetsEncrypt add-ons? How do they complement each other, and what unique features does LetsEncrypt bring to the table? I’d greatly appreciate any insights or recommendations from the community.

Thanks in advance for your help!
