Hello everyone, I’m currently exploring the possibility of upgrading our EcoStruxure IT Gateway servers from CentOS 7 to Rocky Linux 9.3 (Blue Onyx). While reviewing the system requirements, I noticed that Rocky Linux 9.1 is supported. However, our estate has already been upgraded to Rocky Linux 9.3, and I’m curious to know if the Gateway will function seamlessly on this version.
Additionally, I’m trying to avoid the hassle of re-creating everything from scratch after the OS upgrade. Is there a way to export and reimport the application data from our existing CentOS 7 Gateway Servers to the new Rocky Linux environment? If so, I’d appreciate any guidance on the process.
I’m also interested in hearing about anyone’s experiences with similar upgrades or data migration strategies. Your insights would be invaluable! Thanks in advance for your help.
Best regards,
James
