After years of dealing with inefficient storage heaters, I’ve decided to switch to electric dry thermal radiators paired with a smart thermostat. This setup promises better efficiency and smarter control, which is exactly what I’ve been looking for.
After some research, I’ve narrowed down my options to two systems: the Drayton Wiser and the Honeywell Evohome. Each has its pros and cons. The Evohome system, for instance, doesn’t require connecting to my hot water tank, which is a huge plus for me. However, I’m curious to know if the BDR91 can be used as a relay for the radiator. I stumbled upon a pack that seems promising, but I want to make sure I’m making the right choice before diving in.
I had the chance to stay in an Airbnb recently that used a similar system, and it was seamless. The integration of smart thermostats and radiators made controlling the temperature effortless. It’s experiences like these that make me confident I’m on the right track, but I still want to gather more insights from the community.
