Hi everyone, I’m thrilled to dive into the latest updates from EZLogic and share some exciting news about the Govee Ambassador program! ![]()
First, let’s talk about the EZLogic updates. The 1.24.1 update brings some fantastic features, especially the integration with the EzloWeather project. This new addition allows users to access real-time temperature data by city name without needing any API tokens. It’s incredibly user-friendly and opens up a world of possibilities for automating home systems based on weather conditions. I’ve already started experimenting with this and it’s been a breeze to set up!
Another exciting feature in this update is the ability to save project outputs to cloud variables. This is a game-changer for those of us who rely on dynamic data for our smart home setups. The option to process and store data in the cloud adds a whole new layer of flexibility and scalability to our projects. I’m particularly impressed with the JavaScript function processing in the Advanced tab—it’s powerful yet accessible, even for those who aren’t hardcore developers.
Now, switching gears to the Govee Ambassador program! I’m absolutely over the moon to be selected as a Govee Ambassador alongside some truly talented individuals like @Bethholli and @Mozey Moz. It’s an incredible opportunity to be part of a passionate community and contribute to making smart home solutions even better. A huge congratulations to everyone selected—this is going to be an amazing journey!
For those who love tinkering with RGB lighting, I’d love to hear about your experiences with cycling colors on RGBW bulbs. I’ve been experimenting with creating smooth transitions for holiday themes, like Halloween and Christmas, and it’s been a blast. If anyone has tips or tricks for perfecting these effects, I’d love to hear them!
Finally, a quick shoutout to the Govee app and its new point system. It’s fantastic to see such thoughtful updates that enhance user experience and engagement. Kudos to the Govee team for continuously pushing the envelope!
Let’s keep the conversation flowing—what updates or features are you most excited about? Drop your thoughts below and let’s brainstorm together!
