Exploring Flow Management and Z-Wave Network Tips

I’ve been really enjoying diving into the world of smart home automation, and I wanted to share some of my experiences and questions with the community. First off, I’ve been experimenting with flow management in my setup, and I’m curious if others have found effective ways to manually sort their flows. It would be amazing to organize related flows together, but I’m not sure if this feature is already available or if I’m just missing it. Any insights would be fantastic!

Another topic I’ve been thinking about is the frequent “NO ROUTE” messages I’ve noticed in my logs, especially with battery-powered devices like my Monoprice motion sensor. I’m trying to troubleshoot this issue, but I’m not entirely sure if it’s normal or if there’s a configuration tweak I can make to resolve it. Has anyone else encountered this and found a solution?

Lastly, I’ve been doing some research on building a robust Z-Wave mesh network, especially with the newer 700 series hubs. I’m wondering if upgrading to 700 series repeaters would significantly improve the network’s reliability and range. It seems like a good investment, but I’d love to hear from those who’ve already made the switch.

It’s always inspiring to see how others optimize their setups, and I’m eager to learn from the community’s experiences. Let’s keep the discussions flowing and continue to explore the endless possibilities of smart home automation together!
