Exploring Google Home and Homey Integration

I’ve been diving into the world of smart home integration lately, and I must say, it’s been quite an adventure! :video_game: One of the most exciting projects I’ve undertaken is integrating my Google Home setup with Homey Pro. It’s amazing how these systems can work together to create a seamless smart home experience. However, I’ve hit a bit of a snag that I’m hoping the community can help me overcome. :construction:

So, here’s the deal: I’ve successfully connected my alarm system, which has a wireless relay, to both Google Home and Homey Pro. The alarm system is a lifesaver for controlling my gate, and I’ve managed to set it up so I can trigger the gate from both platforms. But here’s where it gets tricky—while most of my devices show up in the Google Home app, my gate button is stubbornly refusing to make an appearance. I’ve tried everything from restarting devices to double-checking my configurations, but no luck yet. If anyone has any tips or tricks, I’d be eternally grateful! :bulb:

On a more positive note, I’ve been blown away by how Homey Pro handles virtual switches and scripts. It’s incredibly powerful, and the customizability is something I wouldn’t trade for anything. Being able to control my gate from both Homey and Google Home feels like the ultimate smart home win. :tada:

I’d also love to hear from others who’ve successfully integrated multiple platforms. What challenges did you face, and how did you overcome them? Any shared wisdom would be invaluable! :hugs:

Thanks in advance for all your insights and support. Let’s keep the smart home revolution rolling! :rocket:
