Here’s the setup I’ve been working on: I wanted to use my Google Home to trigger a VS device, which would start a timer every 38 minutes to remind me to take our furry friend for a walk. Initially, everything seemed to work smoothly, but I ran into an issue when I had to turn off the VS device temporarily. When I turned it back on, it wouldn’t stop the repeating actions. Instead, I’d get notices in between the new 38-minute periods, and even after shutting it off and restarting, the problem persisted.
I’ve poured over the documentation and scoured the forums for solutions, but I’m still stuck. I’d love to hear if anyone else has faced this issue or has any tips on how to reset the VS device properly to avoid these recurring notices. It’s a bit frustrating, but I’m determined to figure this out and make the most of my smart home setup!
