Hey everyone, I’m diving into an issue I’ve been experiencing with my Google Home devices and Home Assistant setup. It seems like the devices only sync when the ‘Remote Control’ option is active, which is a bit of a hassle, especially since I don’t always need remote access. I’ve been using Nabu Casa for over a year without this problem, so it’s a bit puzzling why it started happening recently.
I’ve tried creating an automation to turn on the Remote Control and manually sync the devices, but unfortunately, the google_assistant.request_sync service isn’t available anymore. This leaves me a bit stuck. Has anyone else encountered this issue? I’d love to hear if there are any workarounds or solutions out there.
