Hey everyone, I’ve been really curious about enhancing my smart home setup with more interactive features. I came across this idea where you could ask Google Home if a door is open or even create rules that prompt you with yes/no questions. For example, saying, ‘Hey Google, is the patio door open?’ and having it check the contact sensor, or setting up a rule like, ‘Do you want me to turn off the lights?’ where you can respond with a simple yes or no.
It seems like such a powerful addition to an already robust system! I wonder if anyone has managed to implement something like this or if there are workarounds using existing features. I’d love to hear your thoughts or experiences on how to make this happen. The potential for customization and convenience is huge, and I’m excited to explore this further!
